Miss Me Musika is a Filipino Festival created for those who miss the Philippines.
As the target audience is primarily composed of individuals over 40, I drew inspiration from the nostalgic design elements of the 1970s to evoke a sense of familiarity and warmth. The project was developed in three stages, starting with the poster design, followed by the tickets, ads, and passes, and lastly the brochure.
The poster design incorporates photographs I captured of my dad and uncle, which were then edited and stylized in Adobe Photoshop to match the theme. To create a festive and energetic atmosphere, I chose vibrant colours that reflect the celebratory spirit of the festival.
Throughout the project, I focused on blending retro aesthetic elements with modern design techniques, ensuring the materials were both visually appealing and meaningful to the audience. This work not only celebrates Filipino heritage but also connects generations through a shared visual language, inviting everyone to be part of the celebration, to enjoy the music and drinks.
